As I am hearing so much comments about AeroFlot Staffs at Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi, India; I would like to suggest everyone to rethink about your travel before making decision. I have heard such complaints about misbehave, harassment and asking for money as bribe from AeroFlot Staffs at Delhi from Nepalese students. I heard so many cases from last year and I am hearing the same this year too. I have already heard about four students this year who suffered from such misbehave from AeroFlot Delhi Staffs. So, try to avoid AeroFlot Delhi if possible.
But, I did not mean to avoid Delhi at all since the service of Finn Air and Austrian Air service are really good and I have not heard any comments against the Indian staffs of Finn Air and Austrian Air yet.

i have heard sometime ago that russian route (aerofloat) is very troublesome! vienna route (austrian air ) and finnair are far better!!
ReplyDeleteits true, and I suggest to Avoid India if at all you have to travel elsewhere in places , you can keep thailand as always another option. though it's a bit costly, to maintain your dignity do not travel via India
ReplyDeleteIf you are flying from India in any airlines and if you want to come out of airport to meet somebody then u have to come to arrival not to the transit... if you enter transit .. u can not come out..... u need to fill out an immigration form and come out and you need need not collect your luggage as well.
ReplyDeleteThough Aeroplot is cheap....its service is not so bad. But the people must prepare themself and know well about air travel prior to travelling.......then u will enjoy. yes the transit period is very boring. U must know in detail about your luggage and its delivery to final destination with corresponding airlines official. If u prepare urself well, then no problem!!!

ReplyDeleteLet me clear the confusion here. If you are traveling in groups Airfloat would be cheaper and easier way to enter Finland but in case you are the only one to go through, suggestions would face towards others.
ReplyDeleteI traveled via Aeroflot as well last year and my experience says never choose this airlines. Neither this airlines have good airplane nor do their staffs are supportive. And the way you are treated in Russian Airport is not fair. Although, you may find this airlines cheaper I suggest do not travel using the route of Delhi and service of Aeroflot.
ReplyDeleteWhen I had to travel via alternate flight I grumbled. This is because I lost Finn air on whom i booked and they put me on Aerofloat. Food was not upto the mark. When I was walking down the aisle for leg stretch their airhostess rudely asked me as to what I was doing there. Although other ones were doing their job nicely. Shermetyevo airport is the worst airport in the world with no air conditining and no proper seating.
