Moi !
I would like to thank you very very much for your effort to help Nepalese students. I have some experience about coming to Finland which i think you can share with other people to make them know about these things.
I came here by applying through a friend's consultancy which said me that it will offer free service to me. but when i get confirmation letter it asked me 1200 euros. so, after that i decided to contact my college in Finland about re-sending that letter to my own address via email. But i never expected it would come..amazingly it came to my home address but i recieved it 3 days late after the deadline of the letter to be sent back. I should mark study preference and send back the letter to my college where it should have reached by September 1 2008, which was the deadline. but i received the letter on 3rd of September.
Then i went to one consultancy thinking that i can't make it anymore by my self. the consultancy agreed to charge me 10,000 which i thought at that time was very cheap. the consultancy just sent an email to college and grabbed my 10,000. I was so fooled that time as college accepted me even though the deadline was over. Then I realized that i paid 10,000 just to send one email. how fool was i ..
now after coming here.. the agent from previous consultancy tried to contact me n threaten me saying he will cancel my visa or he will do this n that..but till now he hasn't been able to come to me. and i don't afraid of such people.. i know they can't do anything as long as i stay in my position.
still i would like to ask you that is there any way he can do so that i will not be able to renew my visa this year? he said that if he complains about me to the police about being fraud or something then i can't renew my visa. is it possible? just not by coming through his consultancy can i be a fraud here? i know he can't do anything but just like to share my ideas with u so that u can share that with others..
>> You don't worry about anything. They can't do anything to you. Whatever they do, it won't effect you.
i know this Nepal-Finland is also in Facebook.. how can i find it there?

Consultancy is not fooling any one :)
ReplyDeleteIf u r lazy and don't want to do anything on ur own, then use their service.
They don't force you to use their service ... remember that you are the one who found them, its not like that they found u :)
that's just one part of it. Would you like to how consultancies trap their customers? and what sort of dreams they sell to their customers? and what sort of promises they make to squeeze money out of their customers?
ReplyDeletePost further if you would like to know!
its the reality.i also paid 1100 euros.now i know how much should i work to have that much money.it would be so great if such consultancies are taken actions by embassy.
ReplyDeleteI think, embassy is also along with consultancy, if not so, why consultancy proudly say we have some internal links with them? How they can say this money will not be taken only by us, it would be shared with embassy as well.
ReplyDeletecoz u are fool, whatever they say u belive, u are really a big fool. finns are one of the most honest people and do u know that its the least corrupted country in the world. and, i do tell you that during interview the counsellor asks you if you have done ur process via consultancy, and they expect you to tell truth. last, year when i was waiting in que for my interview, somebody said that he didnt apply from a consultancy bt the interviewer had already found that he had applied from criss-cross consultancy, and believe me she was so angry she refused him to give visa, furthermore she just cancelled the interview for that day and asked us to mention the name of the consultancy and how much money they have taken from us(if we used services from consultancy). luckily, the guy who was refused visa, went back and told the truth that he had indeed used services of consultancy and the interviewer changed her decision and gave him visa. as for me i had to wait the next day bt i got my visa as well. one of my friend who used services of a consultancy directly told the interviewer that he had used service of a consultancy and he had paid arnd 50,000Nrs and the interviewer gladly gave him visa and told him not to go or contact any consultancies from now on.
ReplyDeletebelieve me, these finns are very honest and may b sometimes they are too silent bt they can be very good friends as well. and, plz dont say that finnish embassy takes money from them!!! whts some 1,00.000Nrs= 1000euros for them??
just wanna say be careful and decide urself if you like to spend some 1 lakh NRS rather than fill an online form and send some docs here its ur choice.
jai nepal
coz u are a fool, u just believe whatever they say. finns are one of the most honest people in the world, and its the least corrupted country in the world. dont say that finnish embassy takes money from them, whts some 1,00,000Nrs= 1000 euros for finnish government??
ReplyDeleteok let me tell u something, last year when i was waiting in que for my interview, somebody had told the interviewer that he hadnt used service of a consultancy, but the interviewer had already found that he had used service of criss-cross...... something consultancy. she(the interviewer) had asked him to tell the truth bt he kept on saying that he didne use any service from consultancy and then believe me she got so angry that she asked him to leave and didnt give him visa, and she came out and asked us to write the name of the consultancy and how much we had paid them(if we used service of consultancy) in our visa-application form. she even cancelled the interview for that day. that guy came out and we were around 5-6 people and he told us what happened and he also told us that inface he had done his process via criss-cross... consultancy. then, we askd him to go back and tell the truth, and so he went back and told everything and that he had paid arnd 50,000 Nrs and luckily the interviewer gave him visa. as for me, i had to wait for next day bt i got my visa as well.
Also, i have to tell you that one of my friend told me that he had done his process through consultancy and he directly told the interviewer that he had done his process from a consultancy, and the interviewer gladly gave him visa and askd him not to go or contact that or any other consultancy from now on.
actually, why finnish embassy hates consultancy is coz they are providing free education here, and somebody like consultancies are using full advantage of that and doing business and making money by fooling ignorant people like us. above all ruinning their name saying that they have a link wid finnsih embassy and they give some money to finnsih embassy.
just wanna say all be careful and its all ur decision. if u wanna pay some 50,000- 1,00,000 NRs or fill an online application and send some docs here. even if u get visa, everything is not rosy here, many student are still searching for jobs. jobs are very hard to find here say next to imposiible outside helsinki region for non-finnish speakers. bt, some lucky people have got jobs and earn good salary like 700-1000 euros only workin on weekends. so cant say anything.
at last what i wanna say is' JAI NEPAL'
The Embassy is definately not together or linked with any consultancies. Of course some consultancies proudly say they have any link to get more paying customers! The Embassy has to evaluate studnets intentions (possible fake documents etc) and giving lie about consultancy use does not convince them of studntes integrity. Using consultancy is not against the law in Nepal or in Finland, just highly unethical, therefore RP cannot be issued or not issued by the fact of use the consultancy or not. However, lying to a councelor is misinforming authorities which may lead of getting refused decision.
ReplyDeleteEmbassies do not benefit anything if studnets use consultancies, they truly wish students to save their money for Finland!
Embassy helped some friends of mine of getting educational documents back from consultancy last year and gave them a big scare. If you tel the Embassy which consultancy is proud being linked with them, I am sure they'd take hard action against this consultancy!
